My body, is a holy temple of God, I want to treat it as such. I want to give it the food it needs to keep it going, the food to give it a clear mind that can focus more on God, and the food that makes my body glow from not just the inside but from the inside out too. I want the food that I eat, keep me to live a long and healthy life, a life, of ministering, loving, caring, supporting, encouraging, motivating, and inspiring others.
I don’t exercise because I hate my body, I do it because I love my body, it gives me the energy I need to take on the day and be more productive.
I will rest when I need to rest. When I tire out though from everything that life throws at me, I will go to God to find rest. I won’t turn to food or other kinds of addictions to overcome the stress and burden of life, I’ll turn to God instead.
I’ll drink water to cleanse my insides from all the junk from the outside world and I’ll go to the well to fill my spiritual thirst.
I’ll love my body no matter where it’s at right now on this journey of a healthier lifestyle. I won’t hate it, pick out parts of it that I dislike, make harsh remarks to my physical and mental self, or be my own bully full of criticism. I accept that I will stumble on the way, I may cry, and feel like a wreck, but I’ll get back up.
My only body that I’ll ever have, I live in. I am worth it!
This, is God’s temple. I am not my own.
